We were delighted to welcome James Hindle, student at the Royal Academy of Music, to play the Saint-Saëns’ Cello Concerto.

James studied under Julia Bradshaw at Sheffield Music Academy. He now studies at the Royal Academy of Music (2nd year bachelor) under Hannah Roberts. Recently he has performed under the baton of Trevor Pinnock and has had lessons with Sheku Kanneh-Mason which greatly helped in developing his interpretation of Saint-Saens cello concerto in A minor. James is an ambitious young cellist who is principle of his section in the City Of Sheffield Youth Orchestra. He also plays in the citadel quartet which formed at the Royal Academy of Music in his second year.
